This policy explains what Fig Tree Patisserie collects through figtreepatisserie.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
Who we are

What we collect
Nothing, through the website itself. There is no contact form, no account system, no newsletter sign-up and no online payment, and no field anywhere on this site for you to type into. Browsing it collects nothing from you.
Our web host keeps standard server logs, which record the IP address, browser and pages requested for each visit. These are generated by the hosting platform for security and troubleshooting, we do not use them to build profiles of visitors, and we do not combine them with anything else.

We take enquiries and orders by phone on 716-436-3001 and by email at FigTreePatisserie
Email you send us reaches a Gmail account, so Google processes it as our mail provider under their own terms. We do not run any tracking, read receipts or marketing tooling on top of it.
Ask us to delete it at any time and we will. See your rights below.
Cookies and local storage
We do not run advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and there are no third-party trackers on this site.
- Cookie choice. When you accept or decline the notice at the bottom of the page, we store that choice in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again. It contains nothing but your answer.
- Accessibility settings. If you use the accessibility toolbar, your settings are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device so they persist between visits. They are never sent to us.
You can clear all of these at any time through your browser's settings for this site.
Who we share it with
Nobody. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and the website itself collects none to begin with. Email you send us goes to our Gmail inbox and no further.
How long we keep it
Order details taken over the phone or by email stay in the bakery's order book and inbox for as long as they are useful for that order, and are deleted on request at any time. Server logs are rotated by the host on its own schedule.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Residents of California have specific rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to request deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. Residents of the EU and UK have equivalent rights under the GDPR.

Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
Links to other sites
Our pages link to Facebook, Instagram and Google Maps. Once you follow a link, that company's own privacy policy applies. The map on our contact page does not load, and contacts no Google server, until you choose to load it.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and our server is encrypted. We never ask for payment details, passwords or any personal information anywhere on this website. If a page ever asks you to type personal details into figtreepatisserie.com, it is not ours: close it and call us on 716-436-3001.

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
