How much notice do you need for a custom cake?

At least 10 days. Wedding cakes and large dessert tables should be booked considerably further out.

Do you offer cake tastings?

We do not offer cake tastings. We are happy to talk you through flavors and fillings over the phone or in person instead.

When can I pick up my cake?

Cakes are released for pickup at the bakery during open hours on your scheduled day. We do not deliver cakes.

How do I pay for a custom cake order?

Orders are paid in full at the time of ordering by Venmo, PayPal, over the phone, or in store.

Do you make wedding cakes?

Yes. We make wedding cakes and full wedding dessert tables. Call the bakery at 716-436-3001 to talk through sizes, servings and design.

Where should I keep the cake after I pick it up?

Store it in the refrigerator, keep it level, and take it out shortly before serving. Our cakes are doweled for stability, but once a cake leaves the bakery we are not responsible for damage in transit.

Sculpted shapes, letter and number cakes, tiered designs, fresh flowers, sugar work: tell us what you have in mind and we will tell you honestly what will work.

We use good ingredients and we do not cut the flavor to make the decoration easier. From dense chocolate to a light sponge, the inside of the cake gets the same attention as the outside, which is why so many of our orders come from people who tasted a cake at somebody else's party.
