Cake Breakage and Refunds

Our policy

These terms apply to every custom cake and cookie order. Please read them before you place one.

Pickup

Cakes are available for pickup at the bakery within store hours on your scheduled day. We do not deliver.

Payment

Orders must be paid in full upon ordering, by Venmo, PayPal, over the phone or in store. No exceptions.

Damage or breakage

Once the cake leaves the bakery doors we are no longer responsible for any breakage or damage to the cake. No exceptions.

All of our cakes are doweled, so they are more than stable when handled properly. Keep the cake cold and level in the car, on a flat surface in the footwell rather than on a seat, and it will travel fine.

Refund and cancellation questions

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel 7 or more days before pickup for a full refund, 4 to 6 days before for a 50% refund, and 3 days before for 25%. Cancellations 1 to 2 days before pickup are not refunded.

What happens if my cake is damaged after I pick it up?

Once the cake leaves the bakery doors we are no longer responsible for breakage or damage. Keep the cake cold and level in transit. Our cakes are doweled, so they travel well when they are handled that way.

When do I have to pay for my order?

Orders are paid in full at the time of ordering, by Venmo, PayPal, over the phone or in store. There are no exceptions.

Can I change my order after it is placed?

Call the bakery as soon as you can. Small changes are often possible well before the bake date, but changes inside the 10 day window may not be, and the cancellation schedule above still applies.

What if something is wrong with my order?

Call us on 716-436-3001 the same day. We would far rather hear about it and put it right than have you leave unhappy.
